AND AGAIN, JUST MY OPINION!Ī sci fi survival/exploration game in which you play as an extremely unlucky astronaut marooned in an ocean on a hostile alien planet. Game's clean in my opinion, even felt relaxing at times. But e on let's be real 99% of the scary is just in your mind lol. Again, this is just my own opinion, some others might be scared of what I am not. I say it's completely fine as the game is really not as scary as people say it is, you'll likely be fine. If any parents are concerned, look up some gameplay. Just zoom in on about any insect's face and you will suddenly realize it ain't even bad.
Even the funny long blue one (not spoiling anything) looks kinda just interesting then scary. See if they are absolute nightmare fuel or not (they are not).
But it's seriously no biggie, just look up the leviathans. Some people might be more scaredy and that's fine. That's the only time I remember an even slightly bad word, the game's clean in my opinion. The worst bad words I've heard was "what the hell guys" by some understandably upset dude commentating on the fact that a spaceship literally just crashed and the help is not arriving. It could even be mistaken for a dust effect but that's just me. Storytelling was quite great too, loved the voice of that one funny fish in the space! The only "blood" is literally just some green thing when you hit fish with the knife you have and it's not brutal at all, believe me. The optimization is a little questionable. Requires a decent pc, if the graphics are not on high, some render distance problems could occour. Nothing much to say here, render distance is a little questionable and the top of the ocean looks kinda like a repeating texture to be honest but I'm not acting like you're gonna see it much, the game plays underwater where it looks beautiful! Pretty easy to learn and play, had no difficulties. Graphics are amazing in their own way, I love the kinda cartoony looks.
Even if you don't, nothing's gonna scare you that much unless you're a streamer :). Have situational awareness and you're good. Even that wasn't scary, the fish took quite some time to pop up to attack you. It's only triggered if you enter that specific zone, you literally have to have no situational awareness to trigger it. I can assure you that you will both see AND hear the 50+meter long creature coming toward you! I only remember 1 programmed in jumpscare which honestly is just not scary. if you have ANY situational awareness, you'll not get scared/jumpscared. Ths oceans like the only thing I'm actually pretty afraid of but.listen. The game is usually tagged with "fear" which actually is 99% of your mind. First off, I have thalassaphobia so remember this.
